1. Decide roughly what you need
Most people start with a problem rather than a treatment: a loose denture, a missing tooth, a broken crown or a smile they want to change. A UK dentist can tell you the options, and a clinic can only give a real plan once it has seen an X-ray. Our treatment guides explain the main choices: implants, crowns and veneers and whitening.
2. Get a recent X-ray
A panoramic X-ray (often called an OPG) shows all your teeth and jaws on one image. Clinics in Antalya use it to give a provisional plan before you travel; the final plan follows their own 3D scan. If you have had one recently, ask your UK dentist for a copy.
3. Shortlist two or three clinics
Pick the ranking that matches your treatment: implants, All-on-4 and All-on-6 or veneers and crowns. Then think about where you will stay. Precious Dental, which publishes this site, is our top pick on every list.
4. Compare written quotes
Send the same X-ray and the same questions to each clinic. Ask for an itemised plan naming the implant brand, the material of the teeth, what the package includes and the guarantee. Then line them up with the compare tool and our article on comparing two quotes.
5. Check the clinic
Find each clinic on HealthTürkiye and note its authorisation number. Read its Google reviews, including the low ones, and its own guarantee page. The NHS treatment abroad checklist is a good list of questions.
6. Plan the trip
Book flights only once the clinic has confirmed dates. Check how many nights you need (trip length by treatment), take out travel insurance (what to check) and pack your medicines.
7. During treatment
Keep every appointment, ask for copies of your scans, the implant brand and batch details, and your written guarantee before you fly home.
8. Back home
